Knowing me is to understand that my heart lives in many places. I was born and raised in Japan, and as a child, I spent every weekend at a Zen temple where my grandfather was a monk. After moving to the U.S. to further my studies, I made my home in Colorado, where I've lived most of my adult life. My childhood experience helped me develop a deep understanding and appreciation for cultural beauty. Since then, I have been fortunate to explore many parts of the globe, learn about new cultures, and befriend fellow travelers. This has sparked my passion for helping others plan meaningful vacations tailored to their interests and desires.
The world is full of wondrous places waiting for your discovery. I'd love to hear about what inspires you and what your dream trip looks like. My goal is to make your long-anticipated trip extraordinary and worth the wait.
My specialty is creating travel experiences focusing on wellness, mindfulness, and serenity in Japan - but not limited to it. I'd love to hear about your next trip and help create wonderful memories!
We were in a bind for time and not knowing all we needed to know about travel in Japan. We asked Kay to help despite the short notice. Kay helped us get Japan Rail passes in time for our trip, informed us about the train schedules and which platforms we should use to make connections, and helped us book reservations with hotels. She even helped us figure out how to check our bags at the airport so we could travel more lightly. It was a huge relief to have someone who knew what was possible to do in the given amount of time. And it all worked! Everything was perfect! Her communication skills were terrific, with documentation all along the way. She provided us with an itinerary with addresses and phone numbers in both Japanese and English to make getting to our destinations smoother. We highly recommend her, her knowledge, her professionalism, and her efficiency.
